Essential Resources

To ensure you can view and access all the material on Moodle you will need to ensure you have the following pieces of software on your PC. All are free to download, just follow the links.

The majority of documents on Moodle are in pdf

(portable document folder). To view them you will need a pdf viewer:

Several of the multi-media applications on Moodle are produced using Flash. To view them in your web browser you will need Flash Player:

Some of the presentations in Moodle are created using Powerpoint. If you don't have MS Powerpoint installed on your PC then you will need this free download:

If you are having difficulty opening documents created in MSOffice 2007, download the compatibility pack from here:

You don't have to have the buy MS Office - there are alternatives. The best Office-style software is called OpenOffice and it is free to download!
